It would be great if URLs of Arena websites could be changed manually. We have a few pages with strange URLs because they were copied from other pages and we did not realize in the beginning that this creates strange URLs that cannot be changed afterwards. If we would like to change them now, we would have to create a completely new page, which is a lot of work. Thank you!
Hi!
Sorry for being late with my feedback.
Yes, it is the articles and the dispaly of them. The URL is created from the title of the article the first time it is saved. A work around is to create a copy of the article with the correct title.
But we are looking into this and it, fingers crossed, looks like this is solved in the next Liferay version that we are planning to upgrade to during next year.
Regards,
Martina Edwardson

Yes, I have already contacted the German support about this, but they told me that it's not possible at the moment. So that's why I placed it here, I hope this will be changed in a future release:-). Thank you!

Oh, that's a problem with article-based content and one of the downside of the new Arena Nova. Have you been in contact with the support? Axiell isn't very active in this portal I'm afraid.

Hi Anna, many thanks for your reply! Sorry, I have not been very clear with all details in my post: the problem is that it is not a real page but web content in an asset publisher that opens a new page when you click on it (details about our branches like this one: https://www.bibliothekzug.ch/-/music-school-libra-1). I don't know where I could change this, or do you have an idea? Kind regards from Switzerland!

That's possible to change in our Arena or maybe I misunderstand?
In our Arena you click the three dots by the page in Navigate in the left menu. Choose Configuration and the third setting is URL where you change. (I've translated by guessing the names on the functions as my Arena is in swedish.)
